The Rainmaker Copper Project, Nevada

On October 7, 2026, Burrell Resources entered into an option agreement to acquire up to a 100% interest in the Rainmaker Copper Project, a 77-claim porphyry copper exploration property located in the Pine Grove Range, Lyon County, approximately 25 km south of the Yerington copper district in western Nevada. Rainmaker is now the Company’s flagship project.

The property hosts a large zone of porphyry-related alteration at the Ridge target, measuring roughly 2.5 km by 1.5 km, together with several other copper-skarn and porphyry targets. The property was discovered and mapped by Burrell’s Technical Advisor, veteran exploration geologist Tom Turner, who is credited with the Peñasquito discovery (now Newmont).

Location and Setting

Rainmaker lies in the prolific Walker Lane belt of western Nevada, approximately 25 km south of the Yerington copper district, the largest porphyry copper district in western Nevada. It is surrounded by the Pine Grove gold, Yerington copper and Pine Nut molybdenum-porphyry districts and the recent New Boston discovery. The property is road-accessible, with nearby power and water.

Geological Model

Rainmaker sits within a 5 km-wide, northeast-trending graben interpreted as a geologic twin of Yerington’s Mason Graben, and is prospective for both porphyry- and skarn-style copper. High-iron Triassic mafic host rocks, considered favourable hosts for copper, are cut by porphyry dikes.

In plain terms: porphyry copper deposits form as a series of nested alteration “shells” around a buried intrusion. The alteration exposed at surface on Rainmaker corresponds to the phyllic shell that typically sits above the copper ore zone, so the model predicts any copper ore shell would lie beneath it. Drilling is required to test whether such an ore shell is present.

Recent results nearby support the region’s potential. Rainmaker is a similar target type to VR Resources’ New Boston project in Nevada, which reported 317 metres grading 0.77% copper-equivalent from surface on August 26, 2026. Results on nearby or analogous properties are not necessarily indicative of mineralization at Rainmaker.

Exploration Targets

  • Ridge – a 2.5 km × 1.5 km core of porphyry-related alteration; the primary drill target
  • Hudson & Dozer – intrusive-hosted and calc-silicate skarn targets
  • Big Skarn & Dark Skarn – calc-silicate and polymetallic skarn targets
  • Hilltop, Lizard and Valley View – additional porphyry and skarn prospects

Planned Work

Burrell’s initial program includes drone magnetometer and induced polarization (IP) geophysical surveys to define drill targets, culminating in a drill test of the targets.

Cautionary note: Rainmaker is an early-stage exploration project. The targets described are conceptual in nature; there has been insufficient exploration to define a mineral resource and it is uncertain whether further exploration will result in the discovery of a mineral deposit. This page contains forward-looking statements; please refer to the Company’s news releases for full cautionary language.
